What Are Acupuncture Points

Throughout the body, there are meridians or channels that correlate to a specific organ system. The meridians have specific points that stimulate certain functions in the organ or the organ system. These points and channels have now been scientifically proven. By using a surgical microscope, scientists now have physical proof of acupuncture points and the meridians. As well as with MRI scanning and blood test, science has seen the before and after of an acupuncture treatment. When a needle is inserted into the body, the sensation is 'the arrival of Qi'.
